Following the success of its previous editions, RAMEN TECH 2026 is coming to Fukuoka this October, transforming the city into a hub for startups, innovation, and new business opportunities.

Taking place from October 7–11, RAMEN TECH 2026 is one of Fukuoka’s largest startup and innovation weeks, with more than 100 events taking place across the Tenjin, Daimyo, and Hakata areas. Startups, VCs and investors, large corporations, universities, government agencies, and other members of the innovation ecosystem from Japan and abroad will come together throughout the city.

Rather than being a single conference held in one venue, RAMEN TECH brings together a diverse range of events and participants across Fukuoka. Pitches, meetups, workshops, networking sessions, exhibitions, and other programs will take place throughout the week, creating what is positioned as a “Fukuoka Co-Creation Innovation Week.”

A Citywide Meeting Place for Innovation

One of the defining features of RAMEN TECH is its citywide format. With events spread across central Fukuoka, participants have the opportunity to encounter different parts of the city’s startup and innovation ecosystem rather than simply attending a single convention.

For startups, this means opportunities to showcase their technologies and ideas to potential investors, business partners, and customers. For investors and corporations, it provides opportunities to discover emerging companies and technologies while connecting with entrepreneurs and other ecosystem players. For participants from overseas, RAMEN TECH also offers a chance to explore Fukuoka as a base for business and innovation in Japan and Asia.

The week brings together people and organizations with different perspectives and resources: startups developing new technologies, investors looking for new opportunities, established companies exploring innovation and partnerships, researchers and universities, government agencies, and other ecosystem stakeholders. By bringing these groups together in one city at the same time, RAMEN TECH creates an environment where unexpected connections and new possibilities can emerge.

RAMEN TECH Global Summit: The Flagship Event

At the center of the week is the RAMEN TECH Global Summit, which will be held on October 8 at the Daimyo Conference. The Global Summit is designed to bring together startups, investors, corporations, and ecosystem stakeholders from Japan, Asia, and beyond. Participation is free, with advance registration required.

The program will feature a variety of opportunities to discover new technologies, exchange ideas, and connect with potential partners.

An Opportunity to Connect with Fukuoka and Beyond

For companies and entrepreneurs interested in doing business in Japan or expanding into Asia, RAMEN TECH offers an opportunity to encounter a wide range of potential partners in a concentrated period of time.

The event brings together not only startups and investors, but also established companies, universities, government, and other organizations involved in innovation. This makes it possible to explore connections from multiple angles. Whether you are looking for investment, business partnerships, new technologies, customers, talent, or opportunities to collaborate.

At the same time, RAMEN TECH offers an opportunity to experience Fukuoka’s startup ecosystem firsthand. The city’s compact urban environment makes it possible to move between venues and events while encountering the people and organizations that make up its innovation community.

In this sense, the name RAMEN TECH captures something fundamental about the event: just as a bowl of ramen brings together a variety of ingredients into a single dish, the festival brings together different parts of the innovation ecosystem in one place. Startups, investors, corporations, researchers, government, and international participants all contribute something different, while the city itself provides the setting in which these connections can take place.

This October, come discover what is being cooked up in Fukuoka—and slurp up the future at RAMEN TECH 2026!
